CHAS Accredited Contractor
Becoming a CHAS Accredited contractor means that we have been able to demonstrate that we adhere to the strictest health and safety regulations, both during the various fabrication processes and during erection of the steelwork.
CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) set industry benchmarks on health and safety, and have over 900 public sector and private organisations that look to CHAS Accredited contractors to provide them with various services. Being a CHAS Accredited contractor means that we not only comply with health and safety legislation, but also are committed to safeguarding our customers reputation.
CE Marking Approval
Under the UK’s Construction Products Directive (CPR), it is a requirement that all steelwork used within the construction industry must hold CE marking approval. The CPR was adopted to enforce the European Construction Products Directive, which was introduced to guarantee the safety performance of construction products, whether made in or imported into the EU.
Having CE marking approval means that our customers can rely on structural steelwork that is manufactured to meet the various environmental, hygiene, mechanical resistance and stability, and health and safety requirements of the CPR.
